A few weeks ago my 3 year old told me she didn’t like her hair, she said she wished she had straight hair and that no one liked her curly hair. I never knew that one day she’d feel that way about her beautiful curls! I found this book the next day on amazon with a few others about hair positivity. My daughter LOVES this book, it’s been a must read every night before bed and even sometimes during the day. The illustrations are adorable and definitely focuses on inclusion on positivity. Thank you for this gem!

This is a beautiful book! My granddaughter took it with her when she was going to have her hair braided and styled for the first time. She showed her stylist the style she had selected. The stylist agreed and spent time looking at this book. She asked if she might get a copy! This book is informative, interesting and easy to read. The pictures are amazing. In story form a reader can understand and see everything about the different styles and names. The title is so perfect for a young reader. It is the perfect book to give the PRINCESS in your life.

I purchased two copies of this book for my 6 and 5 year old nieces. They love the book and one of them thought I had a picture of her drawn in the book! One of the girls looks just like her - skin color and hair texture! I love the book as well! It is important that my brown nieces get to see themselves in story books, movies, baby dolls, and in everything else that they see and encounter on a daily basis! It promotes positive images and high self-esteem!

My 5 year old granddaughter and I really enjoy this book. She can't read yet but this book with the short sentences will be a goal for her I'm sure. She tried to guess what the rhyme for be on each page. The sentences were cute . The illustrations of the princesses are so cute. Every style you can think of was represented

The girls and I absolutely love this book! I'm teaching my girls that they should love their natural hair and this book definitely helps with that. The illustrations are beautiful, bright, and colorful. We've read this book many times.

LOVE this beautiful book! So did my daughter. The illustrations are adorable and capture the beautiful variations of hair for the princesses in our lives. The whimsical images and fun rhymes are appealing, especially to young girls. If the book had been available with a hardcover binding for repeated elementary school library checkout, I would have given it 5 stars. I will put it in our collection and checkout anyway, as these sweet images are essential for our students to see.

Great book! I loved the celebration of all kinds of black hair. Gave to all my granddaughters!
